The Pioneer 505 is Bounty Hunter's top of the range metal detector. It features deep seeking detection capability and can detect large objects down to 5 feet and small coin sized objects down to 11 inches. The 505 also has the ability to penetrate rock, dirt, mud, sand, cement and water. With 5 modes of operation (No-Motion All Metal, Motion All Metal, Discrimination, Notch and Auto Notch) the target metal type can be tightly specified to minimise the time spent detecting junk or undesired metals. With full discrimination and notching capability you decide which metals to detect and which to ignore. The Pioneer 505 features 4 stage progressive iron discrimination allowing small ferrous metals to be tuned out in favour of valuable iron and collectibles. Bounty Hunter's 'Ground-Trac' automatic ground balancing ensures that the 505 performs superbly through all soil and ground conditions. With Bounty Hunter's 'Ground-Trac' auto ground balancing, real targets will be easy to identify through the earth's naturally occuring ground minerals. Finally, the 505 has 3 tone audio feedback allowing the detectorist to judge the metal type by the sound of the detector.
